N for Never Let Me Go.
We watched it today in school and afterwards I told my friends it was a horrible film. “Was it really that bad?” No, no, no, the film wasn’t bad - on the contrary, it was amazingly beautiful, and you could tell by the way it touched me. Heartbreaking, terrible, unsettling, sad, ruthless, gut-wrenching, frightening, in all the wonderful ways. If I hadn’t been in school I would have sobbed my heart out, but I was, so I settled for feeling so relieved that I live in this world and not theirs.
Also, you know, Carey Mulligan is my favorite actress.
The other Never Let Me Go is by Florence + The Machine and it is quickly becoming my favorite track on Ceremonials.
